Good Morning...yawn :O

Natasha woke up at 5:00am and is up for the day. Thought I would do an update. We got awesome news last night.

I had to put my house up for sale. I think I mentioned losing my tenets December 1st. I contacted an agent the end of October and we exchanged paperwork and got an MLS number. It sold in less then 2 weeks!! Yeah!..Well, it isn't sold yet. I guess this person loves it and he offered are full asking price. We did price it low due to the number of houses in the area, I guess it worked. What a big relief that is. The closing will be December 27th. From here all we need is a title 5 inspection. There will be no problem with that, it passed in 2002. We had the house on the market for 6 months that summer and it never sold. This is such good news!

As for my workout buddy she forgot about me Wednesday before Thanksgiving. She made plans and forgot Friday too. I think her daughter being home through her off. Then she had to take her mom to the doctor Monday. She had plans to go to the big mall (Great Lakes Crossing) Christmas shopping Wednesday. We meet up ..well supposed to meet up M-W-F. So, after just one week it isn't working for me so well. She still get she workout in. When her daughters home she came get downstairs to her treadmill and then when her husband is home. Luckily Natasha is doing well. She has returned to my gym with me a couple times. She loves it and if she stays healthy I will keep taking her. I am glad to alternate between the gym and my friends. I hope it will keep Natasha from catching all the colds from the other kids in day care. So, with all are missed workout dates me friend opted to meet today and Friday. Hope this works out today.

Worth a Read

There is a DVD to this book?..Interesting. I am reading this book and so far I recommend it. It goes beyond BFL in explaining why you need the protein and when. It is about diet and exercise and goes into explanations for both.

View some of the book here.

HI

Natasha had her recheck the ears are clear and so are her lungs. She will get a preventive lung treatment for the rest of the winter. I stopped taken her to day care and she seems to be feeling well. I have been doing at home workouts on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I go to my friends house for a workout. This works out for the both of us we take turns going to her basement where she has a treadmill and weight bench. The other one stay up-stairs with Natasha and her 1 year old son. We started this Friday and so far so good. With my exercise back in a routine good eating has followed. That is how it is for me. All or nothing I try but I don't do super good unless I'm also working out. Danny and I go away tomorrow night for our 5 year wedding anniversary. Should be fun we are staying over night at a German inn.

Random thought...I need to run

Wow it has been a week already. This week flew by. My family has so much every November. Monday night was my cousin Nikki's birthday and Danny's was Tuesday. The family meet at Fridays restaurant to celebrate both. It was Grandma, great Grandpa, my aunt, uncle 2 cousins, 2 of Nikki's best friends and me Danny and Natasha. It was fun but since we sat so long waiting for my cousin to get out of school I drank to much. The next day was Danny's birthday and my best friends son's 1st birthday. I got Danny a 60min. massage and a bottle of coconut rum. That night me and Natasha went to the 1st birthday party. Since me and Danny never did anything for his birthday we went to lunch on Wednesday to celebrate. Thursday Danny was celebrating with his friends. We met everyone at a pub near his work after I dropped Natasha off at grandma's. So, it was a busy week with a few more events to come. Today I am off the hook. Natasha seems all better.
With her being sick I never make to the gym. They wont take sick kids and when she is just getting better I can't take her and get her sick again. So, I'm getting fat and it isn't even December yet. My friend from work lent me some awesome workout videos and gave 2 raisers for my step bench. I have done 2 videos and they very good and not boring. I think I am going to cancel my gym membership so I'm looking to get into a routine so I am working out. Turns out my best friend has been having trouble getting her workouts in with the baby since her oldest is in school all day, so she volunteered to be my accountability buddy. I am going to her house on Monday , Wednesday and Fridays to watch the kids and she will workout and then I get to workout. Her basement has a weight bench and a treadmill and if this works out I will be wicked happy.

As for the nursing my study book should be here today. I can't decide if I should start my classes in February or wait till Danny is all done. Classes are expansive and we just lost the renters in our house.
Pamela- I was looking into doing nursing so I can become a PA or do labor and delivery maybe mid wife. If you like the technical you should do it. I love my job, I'm just excited to try something new.

What's up?

What's up with me? I applied to school. I was originally just meeting with counselors to see what class I should take to get into a nurse program. Well, the school closest to me accepts my associates from Mass. and I don't need any classes to apply. Just need to do there 6 credit A&P and a nutrition course before it starts up. The application process is free, so I applied. They are very competitive lots of applicants. You get into the program based on an admissions test and GPA. That is it no interview or personal history. Which stinks for me I have been working in health care since I was 17 and already did a similar program when I became an X-ray technologist. The admissions test for me will be Dec. 18th and I should have a study guide soon. The exam is 4 hours long, yikes. According to the counselor I talked to my GPA at 3.6 puts me at the bottom half of the list. That is how competitive it is lots of 4.0s, so I have to do good on the test. The test is 50% and GPA 50% of your placement. I didn't expect to even have a chance this year so will see what happens. I should be finding a second job not a new career. We just lost our tenets and will have to go back to paying mortgage on the house. So, it was worth a try we will see.

Other then that just getting ready for a busy month. Lots of birthdays in my family this month including Danny and my bestfriends baby will be 1. We also have our 5 year anniversary and of course Thanksgiving.

Trick or Treat

Natasha had fun last night. She did wicked awesome and was never scared. She said trick or treat and thank you. Thank goodness she had to go potty she would have had me out all night. I wish I had my video camera she had me cracking up the entire way!

Her treat bag had pretzels and goldfish crackers, which is good because it is the only treat she is aloud to eat.
