Dr. stuff

OK I back from the appointment. I have another ultrasound to do. This one is different they put some fluid in your uterus to check the lining better. Sorry if that grosses anyone out. As an X-ray tech it is no big deal compared to a test we do to shot die in the uterus and up into the tubes. This time to start a cycle he wants me to take 3 birth control pills a day for 7 days. He said the high dose of hormones will make me sick and that my cycle will be bad. There are a few things we can do after this depending on the outcome. That is all I know for now. He told me to start the pills after my work weekend since I will be sick.

Were Home

We had lots of fun up-north at the cabin. Can't wait to get up there again. Natasha had fun being in a house and not being stuck in our apartment. Weather was great even though it was not supposed to be. I took everyone to Lake Huron to swim at the big beach. That was fun but the coldest part of the day. Natasha had fallen when I was putting her suit on and I ran her to the water to get the sand off her so I could get her suit off. Well that was the end of that. She did not want to wear a suit after that. She through such a fit that I let her take it off her shoulders and keep her butt covered. She ended up naked in the lake back at the cabin. This could cause some fits when it is time to put her suit on but I think she catches on fast and wont care as long as she is in the water. I did get her a non disposable swim diaper since the disposable looked uncomfortable and left her leg red. My friend left the cabin Wednesday morning. After that I packed up too and headed home that evening. Danny has no class this week just clinical so I wanted to come home while school was going easy.

I have another appointment this afternoon with my OB/GYN. My second dose of Promitrium never worked. They ruled out pregnancy yesterday and today I see him in the office. He told me he needs to send me for more blood work and maybe another ultrasound. Sounds like we are back right where we started in February-March. I will know more after I see him. They are having me come in today at 1:45pm.

Friday rush

The run went well. I just need to equalize the tire pressure. I got a shoulder workout keeping it center. Which was killer since I was soar from the upper body work I did Wednesday. I did a 2 mile run, brought Natasha home to Danny and then did 5 more. That was good for me I have been averaging 5 miles a run. The cakes done and now its time to pack and load the car for the cabin trip. Tonight I have a date we are going to PF Changs while grandma watches Natasha. Today is Danny's last final for the term he is a junior next week. I am hoping this date is better then the trip to the baseball game. That turned out to be more work then it was worth. I wish Danny could come up-north with us. I getting use to all are time away from each other which makes it easier but it can not be good. Well I am off have to get my to do list checked off. Have a good weekend.
The frosting was to warm when I was doing the shells as you can see they went sideways. Luckily this is for my aunt who request cakes I never done before and doesn't pay so it will have to do.

The Replacement

Remember that jogger stroller I bought. I turned into a big nightmare. The wheel was replaced after the first 5 mile run. The spokes came lose and the tire went flat. Then both flats on the back 2 wheels and the front wheel always wobbled. The hand brake I never got right and it couldn't slow the stroller down. So, I took it back it had a 60 month warranty. Thank goodness because that was 98 bucks. That is not a lot when it come to joggers but hey I want one I can use. I took it back today and went right to Babies R Us. I found one that was big enough for Natasha and I pushed it around and put her in it. It is smaller in a good way and easy to move and turn. It was easier to put together and feels sturdier not that it is all put together. Natasha had to nap so no test run yet, but I think it will work much better. I paid $99 plus tax and $8.99 for a warranty is anything were to go wrong. Since this is my second attempt at a jogger I thought it worth it. I'll update on the run hope to get a test in. Other then that I have to bake a 50th birthday cake and pack for up-north. We (me and babycakes) leave Monday before her normal wake up time, this means we must be packed and ready Friday night before me work weekend. Can not wait to take her to the cabin.

I love the runners high!!!

The race was awesome the weather was perfect and what an awesome park that was. I did so much better then I expected. I'm still feeling the race high good times for sure. I was also feeling the love since my Aunt, cousin, husband , daughter and my work partner and her husband and two kids all came to watch. I still have the number 20 marked on my arm and I don't want to wash it off. I do smell like pond water so it will have to go ha ha. It took my 11 minutes to swim the 1/4 mile. The water never felt cold and it was easier then in the pool I felt like I stayed on the top of the water better. It was however very very hard. While swimming I was thinking I can not do the 600 meter. I mostly swam on my side some breast stroke and the occasional forward crawl or free style. To my surprise I was no wear near the last swimmer. The group was fairly big my aunt said at least 30 still in the water when I hit transition. My place out of the swim 11th. This is for those of us doing the 400 meter there was an option to double the swim and do the 800. Your transition time is included in your run time. For me this was 15 minutes 5 seconds. I was the 8th runner in and the second girl. My time for the entire event was 26 minutes and I don't know the seconds. It was all posted when I left so I have all these numbers in my head.
It was great and hard I'm doing it again for sure. Thank you to everyone you made my day with your comments!!
Woohoo :D

Today's the Day

Weather forecast says it will be 74 degrees when the race starts and water temp currently 72 degrees. I was hoping to practice form in grandma's pool yesterday, but the storm got in my way. Then I was going to run today to keep myself on a workout schedule, but it doesn't look like that will happen either. Looks like A double rest before the race. I am nervous excited scared and very much anticipating what is to come. I know it will be on my mind all day. I will come back with an update on the race tonight. Have a good day.
Woohoo race day!

testing testing...

I did a test run today. I went to the gym swam 400m and then went outside and ran 2 miles. This is exactly what I need to do on Tuesday night. I will be in a lake and I wont need to get my stuff from a locker before the run, but it gave me an idea of what is to come. I have been referring to this race as the small one since it is just a 1/4 mile swim and 2 mile run. Well let me tell yah it didn't feel short. The swim was hard and I was often out of breath. When I was half done with my laps I had to brake it down in my head. I started my count back to one and when I was half way through that last half I talked myself through the last 5 lengths of the pool. Then I was off into the locker room got on some shorts and shirt got out the door and the gym bag in the car. I hit the road and my legs did feel ready to run till at least 1/2 mile. I was glad I only had 2 miles on the road. It went well and I am very glad I did a test run. I am excited to do the race with a few nerves mixed in. The weather forecast has shifted should be sunny and clear no thunder storms to cancel the race. The lake temp is now up to 72 degrees wooohooo!!! I ran 5 miles this morning before work and I am hoping since I wont be doing that on race day I wont be as wiped out as I am right now. Well, with that said I going to crash. Hope all you guys had a great fathers day.

Just a quick hello

Well, I am not training to hard. I think it was every other day this week. It happened to work out this way but it was always my plan to skip the weights for the week. I was going to go to strong class this morning since the neck is better. It turned out Natasha slept in and I missed it. Glad the neck is feeling better haven't noticed it all day.
After my swim the other day I jumped on the scale in the locker room and it said 128. Wow I like that. I knew my scale wouldn't agree and it didn't but even 131 on my scale kept me happy. I put on a pair of pants I wore on memorial day and they fit a lot better. I guess I am doing something right with the plan for no plan. I just aim to eat healthy and having a race helps me keep up with good workouts. For the most part that is we all have our moments.
I found a shirt yesterday that says I am your sugar daddy. How funny is that?

Good news, no great news lake temp is up to 72!!

quick update

I made it to the gym today. It has been hard with Danny's studies. My cousin Nikki watched Natasha for an hour so I could get in my 400M swim. It seemed hard today harder then the last few times. I am still all over the place trying to get the body movement correct and not get out of breath. I managed 400 meters in 16 minutes. I still rest a lot at the end of the lane. I was glad I got to the pool in the middle of the day because watching other people in the lap pool helped me out some. Other then that the neck is better not 100% but I might be up for that Friday morning strong class. I am feeling cranky and blah since I am in the middle of round two of Promitrium. Oh and good news, the lake where the race takes place is up to 70 degrees. They say you need a wet suit for anything lower then that. We are supposed to have hot weather the rest of the week. It is even supposed to hit 90 degrees Sunday. Hope Tuesday is a hot one too.
Other then that just trying to help out Danny take care of Natasha and be ready for Tuesday. Still working on getting caught up with blogs.

Rain watching

Ahh my own bed...

The trip was good. I was ready to come home taking care of Natasha outside of our own home wore me out. You know when you visit family and there is know down or alone time. My aunt forgot my flight date and was in Florida. Danny had to take half a day off school to get us there. The flight in was delayed and I missed my stop over because of it which put us in Boston pretty late. I let Natasha run around and we played just to wear her out the the next flight. When it was time to drive to Pembroke she was all set the car seat, but we managed to make to my moms. We started our trip at 6:30am and didn't get to my moms house till 5:00pm. That was one long day. I did get up before we went to the airport and did my 5 mile run. Needless to say I was wicked tired at this point. We got to visit some family from Texas too, which was great. Tuesday was grandma's 80th birthday. Wednesday I stayed at my sisters and and caught up with some friends talking till 4:00am. It was fun but I am the only one with a kid and my body doesn't let me sleep in. Thursday night I called my aunt to see if she was all set to pick us up. It turns out she arranged for her daughter to get us and she was still in Florida. Well when it came time to pick us up Nikkei was lost and ended up circling the wrong airport. I landed in Detroit and was not picked up till 1:45pm. Natasha was as good as could be expected we arrived home at 3:30pm. I was exhausted. The weather was horrible rain the entire week. I never got to run swim or go to the beach. I am glad I got that run in Monday morning and then Saturday before work I got up and swam 1/4 mile. I was to tired and with work didn't have time to do anything on Sunday. My neck has been bugging me again that same injury from last July. I think it was from pulling the stroller and our suitcase with the car seat waiting for our ride. Monday night I made it out for a run it was great and I felt fast and energize. I made it through the 5 mile run in less then 36 minutes. That is good especially around here since I often wait at a few traffic lights. I wont be doing any weights my neck bugs me just picking up Natasha. One week from today is the dualathon and I am hoping it get really hot here fast. I have no wet suit for the water, I think it will be fine. I am nervous I never dealt with a transition station let alone a race that involves swimming. It is not letting me upload a picture I will try it in a new post.

I still have to catch up with blogs I am out of the loop. Hope all is well with everyone.<3

:D :P

Well my work week is up. I packed and am excited for the trip home with Natasha. Tuesday I am taking her to the ocean and in the evening I will be going to my sister-in laws to take care of little Patrick for the night so she can sleep. Well, he isn't so little at 9lbs 9oz. My mom doesn't have a computer which means I am not sure if I'll get to check in. I will take lots of picture the cameras ready to go. I fly home Friday just in time for another work week. I will miss some workouts so no worries on the over training.

Speaking of training I am double excited that I went to the pool at 4:00am just to see if I could swim laps. OMG is that ever hard. My breathing was all wrong and I rested each time I got to the end of the lane. I did a few different strokes, but never took swim lesions so don't really know what I was doing. So, when I was done I had swam 27 laps. I am happy enough with this to go ahead and sign up for the training race. It is official I am registered to do a 400m swim and a 2 mile run June 20th. I need to worn the swim but I'm doing the race and I can not wait even though it is nerve racking at the same time. I just find it thrilling to do two events in one race and still can not believe I can do it.

I need to get to bed. I will miss you while I am gone. Have a great week :D

Cheri syndrome

Ha ha no not really. I am sooo tired and drained. I going to blame it on my work outs because they have been hard this week. Sunday I ran 6 miles Monday was a 60 min. Cycle class and a day filled with sun and in and out of the pool. Then Tuesday I did another 60 min. Cycle class and walked 5 miles in the 90 degree heat. Wednesday was a 75 min. total conditioning class. This was only the second time I went to this one. I found it to be great not to hard and it was fun great music. The instructor was great and can you believe she did this after running a marathon on Sunday. Thursday was 60 min. Cycle and boy am I tired. Tomorrow I have a 75 min. Strong class which I am loving. This Friday will be my 3rd week in a row and with the new schedule comes one for Tuesday that I hope to fit in my schedule. So, I am blaming my tiredness on good workouts.

My new goal is a race that is short but involves running and swimming. I don't know how I will do with that so I will try doing some laps in the pool before I sign up. The race is short 400m swim and a 2 mile run. They will have one every few weeks for the east side of the state. The distance goes up as the summer goes on. The next one is June 20th and that is the one I hope to do. It is a fun race and was deigned to help train for triathalons or dulathons. I think it will be a fun yet scary place to start on my future goal of triatholan sprint race.

Tomorrow night is the Red Sox vs Tigers and my date with Danny. I hope the rain holds out so we can go. After that I work my weekend and then fly out Monday at 9:00am for Mass. I have not been to a game since I lived back home and went into Fenway. I can't wait to see the game and to just get out for the night.

Last night I ran out to the store right as the rain started. I love MI rain it is extreme compared to Mass. You could see it up the street pouring down I drove right into it. You drive through it like a water fall. It was raining on one side of the street and not the other. I love the thunder and how the sky opens up and the rain pours down. In Mass. it sprinkles then works its way up to down pour. It's not as amazing. Can you tell I love a good thunder storm.

OK babycakes is in trouble have to run no time to proof read hope this came out OK.

My baby

I took this picture and when I looked at it my baby looked more like a little girl.
