Doing fine :)

I would like to send you all a big hug and lots of Thank Yous. To all of you that sent hugs and prayers and put me in your thoughts. I was shocked by all the support I had here. In a good way. It was hard for me to hear about Jenn's funeral and not be able to be there with my sister Lori and best friend Laura. It all got to me but part of me felt like I had no right to be to upset. Is that wired? I felt since we were not super close that I was being silly for getting choked up about it. Anyway it all bothered me I just can't help that. I'm sorry if my post upset any of you. I really appreciate all your kind words. I have not had much time to post. Natasha was sick all last week and now it is Dannys turn. Natasha had the stuffy nose and chest congestion, she did have a slight fever but kicked it all in just over a week. So I'm still here and doing just fine thank you everyone.

Oh by the way. I know there was a post on tracker about who reads your blog. Well the Patriot Ledger(MA Newspaper) tracked me down by way of my blog. They called my house last night to ask questions for a profile on Rachel. Just an FYI I was quite shocked for the call by way of my blog.

I don't have much to say. I found out yesterday afternoon that a friend from high school is gone. Well, actually we all went to elementary school together. My best friend called me, they are roommates in MA. I feel really sad for her, wish I could be there. Laura(my best friend) was in Florida visiting her mom when she found out. She was able to get a flight late last night. She wanted to be back sooner her other roommate is not doing to good. Not that we expect her to. All her friends that I know went to my sister's apartment last night. I wish I could be there. I was in a zone for a while, I feel I have snapped out of it a bit. If I think to much on it I start to cry. We were not close but when a 25 year old passes away...I don't know life isn't fair sometimes. I got up at 6:00am and went for a run and it has helped me feel better. Danny has gone to school and Natasha is still asleep, I think I will go take a hot shower.

Wow is all I can say. I just got a PM on tracker. I was touched and shocked I have never gotten anything like this. I don't know what to say....WOW

I am writing because I am feeling really bad about myself. Yesterday I pretty much went into binge mode and now I am sluggish and lack motiviation. You are pretty amazing...you do a great job. I just need to know that even you slip up sometimes ...yes? .....no? I really went on a whole day all out eating fest yesterday and feel like I just ruined my success thus far. To sum up.....I ate two pieces of french toast with two eggs, 1/2 a basil chicken sandwich, Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich, 1/2 a sub sandwich on whole wheat bread, and a whole pint of stawberry ice cream. I had been sooooooooooo strict for two weeks I seriously felt like I had lost any control. So my original question has this ever happened to you? Did I ruin my first two weeks. Please help me make some sense of all this. I feel really awful. I just need some inspiration from you. Whether you know it or not you are a pretty inspiring person on this board.

Day 19

I hate working biceps. I always suck it up and then once you get that burn it is all over. Yeah love the burn. It flicks that switch, game on how much can I make this hurt.

Well, been an odd day. I was meeting Danny for lunch, but at the last min. They sent them an hour early. It really bummed me out. I even did my hair and put some effort into getting dressed. Made lunch and packed my gym bag. Maybe next week we will make it up there. I can not believe it is Friday already. Most of you are ending your week. You must love Fridays. Well, this brings me to Tuesday. I never left the house never worked out. I got 2 meals in and then...... I ate everything I was not supposed to. Today was free day all over again. I was going strong with working out and eating super clean and I let it all go. I wish I could post the same good news as Janel. That in 2 1/2 weeks I was still perfect...sigh, I blew it. Hope I did not ruin all my hard work. Today was rest day on the exercise, so at least I did not blow that. Well, there you have it. I can not even think about how many steps backward I may have taken. I did it I screwed up and now the day is ending. At least there is no crap left to eat he he because I already ate it all. Have you ever put pretzels in your ice cream yummy. Tomorrow I am going to do my best, I promise no junk, lots of water. I will be getting out of the house. I will have a kick ass chest triceps shoulder work out. I am done wining promise :)

Danny did his first chest x-ray at clinical today. He is loving school, I'm wicked happy for him. Me and Natasha are going to the hospital tomorrow to meet him for lunch.

Run away emotions

OK I am going to explode. I am done pretending I am having a fine day. I feel like total crap, every thing is getting on my nerves. If I hear Natasha cry one more time today I am running out the door and coming back at bed time. I already yelled at her. Yup yelled at a 16 month old baby, what a shitty mom I am. Danny should be thankful he isn't home today, although maybe he should get home and save babycakes from her hideous mother.
I miss my sister so much right now. She would come over here and put me in my place and then share a tub of ice cream with me. She was my one true friend I had out here, just thinking about it makes me cry. I feel like I have no friends, but don't feel like I deserve any right now anyway. Sometimes I wonder what Danny sees in me. I feel weak and pathetic, oh boy I'm rambling. Well blogen is not helping I must sound like a psycho. Sorry I'm done.

Hello Day 11 & 12

Well, almost done with week two. I am a little tired, put not bad. I think the first challenge I did I took a lot of long naps. This time Danny isn't home, so good thing my energy is not bad. Yesterday was chest, shoulder, triceps and I did that at 9am. Natasha got up at 7am, so we were ready early. I got called off the floor again to change her diaper. I swear she always poops while we are there, no matter what time we go. This time I was pissed because you run off the floor in the middle of your workout and they know you want to go a fast as you can. I had to wait for another mom to come out of the changing stall and then a lady that worked there walked in front off me and took the stall. She changed her kid and even peed herself. Meanwhile I am standing outside the door trying to keep Natasha entertained in a tiny bathroom for 10 min. She was not happy with me to begin with because I took her out of the play house to change her. The lady that cut me is new and I already got the bad vibe from her the day before. Guess we will see how she does. She just does not seem like the child care type, I think she there because she can work and watch her son. The was shining and the temperature was up. It was nice to have some less depressing weather. I know in MA we still had snow and cold, but I don't recall missing the sun. Then I went to the 6:45pm spin class. OMG it kicked my ass. I drank my entire water bottle I was drenched. It was a hard class and I was beat. I had to run home before Natasha went to bed to give her a shower. Yup a shower my weirdo kid started hating her bath. I was running out of things to try to get her to stay in the tub. Turns out she loves the shower. I am still looking for the bath visor Janel told me about.This weekend is my first weekend working at Mt.Clemens General Hospital. It isn't a new job just a new location for me. This drops my commute from 50min. to 15 min. I am very excited, and on top of that my running partner from the marathon will now be my work partner. Yeah!

I would like to thank Jess for drilling in my head to write a plan. When I was having a blah Dec. she probably told me this 3 times. Plan plan plan have to have a plan. Write post it, read it. OK I have my plan and my goals, I write everything down, so I can keep upping my weights and keep it challenging, which also keeps it fun. It has made a huge difference and my challenge thus far has been great. Thank you Jess.

At the gym the new girl was on cleaning duty in child care. Wonder way they had her away from the kids. I wonder how long she will last. Danny is going out tonight when he gets out of school. I am jealous wish I had a night off. I am hoping to get out next week, it all depends on how much homework or test Danny has. This is why I feel like a stay at home mom that works full time. I do my 32 hours at work on the weekends, and then the rest of the week have no help at home. Monday is the worst because I have to get caught up on sleep laundry and housework. Natasha is also more clingy since she does not get to see me Saturday or Sunday. So, anyway that is my new motto the stay at home mom who works full time. I do love my shift at work, not many people can work full time and be home 5 days a week.

Natasha's molar came in. We just need to get through the one on the other side now. It was her third molar, but I was told they don't get them till they are 2. I'm hoping she doesn't start getting that next one till after my weekend. The 16 hour shift can be a long one but it is torcher if you are sleep deprived. Well, I'm off to get caught up with all the blogs.

Stuff

Today sucks. It is rainy and dark good thing it is not freezing. I am tiered, last night was a bad one. Natasha woke up at 3am screaming in pain. Took me an hour, a dose Motrin, some oral gel and a cup of milk to get her back in her crib. Then she cried for anther 15-20 min. She woke up at 6am and Danny got up gave her some toast and put her back to bed just in time to leave for school. After that she slept till 8am, thank goodness. She feels warm today I didn't pull out the thermometer yet she goes nuts for some reason. I am not sure why, I put it under her armpit. I totally understand getting upset if I am putting it in your bum, but under the arm. Anyway, I am tired oh already said that. I am doing my workout tonight when Danny gets home. I did not want to take Natasha to the day care if she isn't feeling good.

Today I almost blew it. I was hungry and just wanted to eat. I decided to down 2 glasses of water and let myself have some diet coke. I drank the water and then Natasha distracted me, then it was time to eat. If I did not have to come here and tell you guys I know I would have let myself eat up some cheesz-its. I am hoping to have some great week 4 pictures.
I think I am getting use to our household routine. It is hard sometimes Danny does not get in till at least 5:30pm, then has homework on top of that. With me working full time weekends I feel like a stay at home mom that works full time. I do not know how single moms do it. I have a huge amount of respect for all single moms, I could never handle it. I would be lost without Danny and his constant support. I could never have picked such an awesome person to spend my life with me because I did not know that God made guys this great. Even now after 10 years I am surprised by what an awesome caring person he is.


Ok I need to try to nap while Natasha is napping. I will edit in my workout later.

Day 9 and loving it!!

Today I had an awesome workout. I woke up 6 to get HIIT in before Danny left for work. Then I went to a gym class called strong. It focuses on taking all muscle groups to failure. The instructor wanted to see us not be able to finish the reps. We set up a heavy bar and after chest press my barbell was not heavy enough. I ended up using a 40lb dumbbell for the rest of he heavy weighted exercises. It felt great and I never thought I would be able to do it. I just figured it would be better to push and then let up on the weight if I had to. But, I never had to it was great! I did miss the last 10min. of class, got called to the child center for poopy diaper. Luckily we had finished hitting the big hard muscle. Overall it was a great day. My ass is killing me already! Push yourself outside your box, it will feel spectacular I promise.

Day 8 Awesome

I have been on a roll. Sometimes my lifting is not hard enough. I feel like I am still getting use to the weight I need for each set. I have been eating clean, today makes 8 days straight. I am kind of afraid at this point to take a free day. I have not been having cravings and do not want them to come back because of free day. I find it really helps that we are all pumped at the same time. I am glad that some of us will be at the same week throughout the challenge. Overall my first week was defiantly one of the best I have ever had. Thought I would totally crash today and I kept my momentum going. We had a long weekend I had 2 very busy shifts both 16 hours were booked. On top of that I had to train a girl on both sites. Natasha is waking up anywhere from 4:30-5:30 and it sucks. We do not know what is up. She gets up has breakfast and then usually we can get her back to bed so we can crash for another 2 hours. She does have a new tooth, so maybe that was it. We knew she was teething I am not sure when she cut through, but found it today.

I have to hide the mirrors because my body has not caught up to how my mind thinks I should look.

Day 4

I woke with a head ache and a soar throat. I was wicked bummed that my headache kept me up from the time Danny left till Natasha woke up. I was supposed to run to the gym for a HIIT as soon as Natasha finished her breakfast (are you ready for my but) but, my head hurt and I grabbed a blanket and snuggled into the couch. I downed a glass of water and took my vitamins and took some Aleave. I turned on some Blues Clues and ate some egg whites and oatmeal. Natasha was really good she played by herself for 1 1/2 hours. I finally dragged my ass off the couch to get some coffee in my belly. We made it to the gym finally at 11:30. Since I ate I went ahead and did chest, shoulder, and triceps. I wanted to get a good cardio in, so went back to the gym for spin class at 6:45pm. I am glad I did because the class was frigen awesome and I soaked two towels. The past four days have been awesome. No cravings for me at all. My energy level has been great too. Hope I can keep this up! Butter butter butter please!!

Day 3 of 84 :D

I am feeling 100% better after just 3 days. I took Natasha to the gym with me and she has been up graded. She is now aloud to play in the big girl room. I am wicked excited because now I do not need to ever make an appointment. This is going to make my trips to the gym a lot easier. It was hard sometimes to know when we could be there and appointments had to be on the hour. My eating has been clean and plenty of water. I skipped that spin class this morning. I know I was geeked to go and then tossed and turned at 1:30am turned the alarm clock off. When Danny got up for school I could not fall back asleep. I stayed in bed exhausted but awake till Natasha woke at 8. Overall I am happy to report my energy for the day is good. Why on earth people give up caffeine is beyond me, I think I am addicted to the stuff.

I have a question for you. I needed to eat at 11 and was on my way to the gym, I made a myoplex lite shake and drank it on the way. I worked out for about 40min. OK the question is when should I eat again? Do I wait till 3 (at 2)hours is up but what about recovery? Do I wait an extra hour and eat at the 2 hour mark instead of three (at 1)? Do I have some whey with milk following the lifting session only one hour after my last meal? I waited for the 2 hour mark making just over an hour since I worked out.

I also like to see what people eat, just like Stef said in her blog. I did not think anyone cared, so now I am putting in my food too.(If you care)

On plan

I did not get a chance to post yesterday. It was the last day me and Danny have off together till next December. Natasha is getting her K9 teeth, she is crabby and it has been hard to keep her happy. She clings to me a lot and I can not get much done, poor thing that must hurt like hell.
I ate on plan and had a great workout. Monday was Chest, Shoulders and triceps. I am soar today which confirms it went well. Today I felt more hungry maybe from the HIIT workout. I got up at 5:30am to get HIIT done before Danny left for school. This way I get it in on an empty stomach. I did my lower body workout today at 6:30pm. The place was packed. Food was clean and lots off water. I already lost 3lb of water weight. I want to go to spin class tomorrow, so I will get up at 5am to go to the 5:30 class. I am going to do back and biceps in the evening. I read that the best thing you can do is cardio in the am and weights in the afternoon. I have my workout broken down differently then my last challenge and plan to drop the spin classes if I start to feel over trained. I know my workout schedule will be hard, but that will just make it that much more rewarding when I prove I can do it.

Goals..Nerves!..Pictures

I wrote out all my goals. I took my picture blahh and did measurements. I was dreading all of this and glad I got done and updated my tracker profile. I wrote out my schedule of workouts, planed my meals and went grocery shopping. I am ready to go for tomorrow. My first goal is to stay on plan this week and make it safely to free day. I am on the tracker mini challenge so I will lose points for the team if I do not stay on point. Nancy is on my team and she is a pro at these mini challenges, I think we should do good.

My goals for next 4 weeks
1. Do a pull up unassisted
2. Run 3 miles during my HIIT session
3. Drop 2% of my body fat

These are my fitness goals I have other little ones to help me get there. I need to get to bed on time, eat my good fats, take my vitamins.

OK enough fitness stuff, I have something to get off my chest. I was nervous today and I do not completely understand why. Me and Danny had discussed weeks ago about whether to go ahead and try to get pregnant. We always wanted kids close in age and Natasha is 16 months now. Danny is in school and we both decided it would still workout. He goes Monday through Friday, I think of it as his full time job. We live in a 1,000sq foot apartment, but are willing to deal with that. We do not want to move we get a deal every lease and will be moving back to our house in MA in 3 years. I am getting to the point soon. My birth control has been working, no D.N.C necessary. What got my nervous was today was the day I start my pill pack. I pulled it out and was ready to take it when Danny kind of just looked at. He wanted to know what the point would be to go through another month on the pill when Dr. White is going to take me off it so we can be ready to try for the baby. So, that made it all real I stopped taking the pill today. I have a baby I kind of know what to expect and I just feel nervous, today made it real. I always believed that you know if you not ready for kids, but you never know when you truly are. How can you know for sure it is one of those you do not know what it is like until you do it things.

I feel better already glad I got to write this all out. I think my out look has improved since I started my blog. I do not bottle everything up and let it bug me. I did pictures guess I could put them up here too. Ya guess I went back to the fitness topic.
